Robert Malmberg is an award-winning portraiture, still life, and landscape photographer. He believes that photography is an essential practice: it captures powerful memories, creates change, and keeps unique record of the ever-evolving human experience.

Malmberg offers a diverse collection of limited-edition photographs from his adventures in the studio and abroad, and provides museum quality prints and custom framing options. Realizing the potential for his photography to have a larger impact on interior spaces, Malmberg is introducing Malmberg Wallpaper in spring 2021. Combining professional fine photography with mixed media artwork to create striking designs, each digitally printed pattern delivers a uniquely imaginative and eye-catching quality to walls.

Robert shoots with the historic wetplate collodion process, combining hand-mixed darkroom recipes with large format cameras. His passion for studio art and printing have led to many on-going collaborations with top interior designers, private collectors, and hospitality clients.

Robert has exhibited his work at Scope Art Miami, The Institute of Contemporary Art in London, The Decoration & Design Building NYC, W Hotels, and The New-York Historical Society Museum. Malmberg was recently an artist-in-residence at the luxury Quin Hotel in Manhattan, developing custom art work for the common areas, penthouse suites, and 17’ digital wall in the lobby.
